In 2002
Ms. Collins-Roberts learned that Pomona Hall had been a Slave
Plantation in the 1700’s. In 2003 she revealed this truth for the first time
ever. After doing extensive research for 3 years, in 2005 she revealed to the
world - not only the story of Slavery and Plantations in Camden, NJ, but actually placing together the missing puzzle
pieces of Slavery in the North. This resulted in a special 3 month project of
truths expressed through a Historic Art Exhibition, 1st ever Slave Route Tour in Camden, an Award
Ceremony celebrating countless famous African Americans who have come up out of
Camden, NJ USA and much more. http://stillstanding.homestead.com
